HOW TO GUARD AGAINST BURNOUT

Burnout has been a big struggle in the professional sphere for a long time, but with the major changes that COVID-19 has demanded, some experts believe that accompanying demands and psychological pressure may make burnout and related stress responses even more widespread. Burnout can refer to a wide variety of symptoms and experiences. At its core, it’s a response to overwork and workplace stress and usually manifests as exhaustion, a lack of energy or interest in work, and reduced productivity or capability. Whether you’re facing possible future burnout or dealing with its effects right now, here are some tips to handle it.

1. Take a break. This is the most obvious solution, but if you’re overworked, it’s important that you take a step back and give yourself some distance.
